教材指在全国学校体育联盟机器人工作委员会教材编审部的指导领导下，负责编写编著、合作编写、引进等机器人学科交叉教材（简称教材）等相关工作。

目前，主要大、中、小学机器人系列教材为：小学机器人学系列教材、中学机器人学系列教材、北京大学机器人学基础系列教材以及陆地、水中、空中机器人专项教材。

随着我国以机器人多学科交叉教学工作不断向科技产业、科技研发、生产制造、材料研发、生物医学、工业工艺设计、通信工程、卫星工程、信息工程、计算机工程、消防救援、空中海洋领域、市场营销、行业应用、金融领域、产融资领域的广泛应用，与之相关领域的人才需求缺口越来越大，在教具教学方面将直接推动教材的不断更新、不断完善、与时俱进、与国际接轨，占领新型高技术产业制高点，加快相关领域教材的编写编著、出版发行等工作力度。工委教材编审部充分认识到这一工作挑战性，勇于挑战，战胜困难，为机器人为载体的基础教育作出新的巨大的贡献。

器材指在全国学校体育联盟机器人工作委员会器材检测中心的指导领导下应用机器人教学、机器人竞赛、机器人训练的各类器材（简称器材）。
