In one word, the history of Japanese fashion industry is accompanied by the steps of this college. 文化服装学院自1923年被批准为我国第一所服饰教育学校，教授研究服饰方面的专业知识和技术，为服饰教育界和产业界做出了贡献，培养了一批具有高度技术和修养的富有创造性的人才，输送了30多万毕业生，涌现出了一大批世界级的创造者。 可以说，日本时尚界的历史是伴随着本学院的脚步而来的。 这样的成绩建立在学习环境、专业设施的完善、多年研究的独特课程体系之上，被世界公认为史无前例的时尚学校，一直享有极高的声誉。

In recent years, from the standpoint of leading the fashion education in Japan, “fashion major” and “fashion circulation major” have been set, which has the same degree as the four-year university graduates. The culture of this college is always to promote the development of fashion. The college is comprised of cultural university, short-term university and language school. Bunka is the only specialized vocational college in the field of fashion, by construction of the campus with the latest equipment, it has many affiliated institutions and research institutions as culture and clothing form research institution which will collect, analysis, provide academic and fashion related information as textiles and images. The library collects precious materials from all over the world, and the clothing museum aims to improve the popularity of clothing and cultural system.
